Annual reports

Below you will find all annual reports available since 2010 in French (they can also be found elsewhere on our website in Dutch). Fedris was established in 2017 through the merger of the Fund for Occupational Accidents (FAO) and the Fund for Occupational Diseases (FBZ). Due to the intensive preparations during the transition period, no annual reports are available for the years 2016 to 2018 inclusive.

Please note: these are the traditional annual reports. FAO, FBZ and Fedris have each published statistical annual reports on their activities every year – including during the merger period. These can be found in our Statistics section.

Since 2024, Fedris has no longer published its annual report in paper format, but instead via a dedicated website for each reporting year.

At Fedris, we are happy to share our knowledge on occupational diseases and workplace accidents. In this section, you will find three types of publications:

Scientific studies:
Studies by experts who analyse a topic in depth. They often provide a scientific basis for further discussion and for the development of new policy.

Opinions of the Scientific Council
The official positions of Fedris’s Scientific Council, approved during its meetings. They are based on scientific studies, but may differ from them. The opinion of the Scientific Council is the official position of Fedris.

Scientific chronicles: short summaries of recent international literature, prepared by the Medical Commission on New Diseases. They highlight innovative insights and encourage reflection on their relevance in Belgium.

Occupational disease criteria

These documents are not available in English. You can find them on our website in French and Dutch. Below, we provide the French version.

These publications obviously cover only a limited number of occupational diseases. The Belgian list of occupational diseases also includes, for certain diseases, criteria that Fedris uses when assessing a case.

Symposia and webinars

All symposia or webinars organised by Fedris are conducted in French and/or Dutch. However, some presentations may be prepared in English. Below you will find the list as presented on the French-language version of the website.
