Change of official address in Belgium
In the event of a change of official residence in Belgium, the address change must be reported to the Population Service of the municipality where the person will reside. Fedris is automatically informed via the Crossroads Bank for Social Security.
If a person has, however, been removed ex officio from the Belgian register, this may lead to a suspension of compensation payments..
To avoid this, a Model 2 certificate (proof of registration) can be requested from the Population Service. This document can be sent by email to adres@fedris.ber by post to:
